I don't know about you, but I find the use of hashtags to be the norm with millennials. The rest of the people I work or socialize with, either hate them or don't care for them. But why? Hashtags are just simply labels, another avenue for your content to be found on social media, it's a social way of engaging a dialog with your audience or getting people to talk about your product/company. Of coarse, just like any new skill it's something that you get good at with practice and learning a few basics. First of all DON'T fear them! #hashtags are becoming more and more popular with advertising campaigns and weather or not you want to jump on the bandwagon or not, they will help increase awareness of your brand.
