Melancholic Willow

Image
Memories of swaying willow trees are running through my head. Barzava River was adorned by old melancholic willows that are so close to my heart. I wanted to show a more modern vision of an old memory. The image is inspired by the two willow trees at the entrance of our Olde Savanah Square subdivision. Copyright ® Ramona Stalinescu 2006

My Andy

Image
Illustration and writing are two of my favorite things. On this blog I'll combine both and share some of the things I'm working on. Recently, I finished illustrating a portrait of Andy Warhol, . A tribute to one one of my favorite artists.

To A T

Image
I enjoyed "To a T" exhibit last night, featuring t-shirt designs from around the globe with a special focus on Southern regional designers like Pecan Pie Couture, Black Black Label, Esperanza, and more! T-shirt designs it's something I'm really interested at the moment. Here are some highlights. Oh! and went to eat at the Globe with the girls. We had fun as usual. Thanks girls.

Urban & Modern Berlin

Image
Our visit to Europe came to an end. Berlin by far was my favorite because of it's modern architecture and saturation of museums. We went to a Rembrant Exhibit, which was beautiful and nostalgic, portraying European characters of past times and dear Bible characters. We gazed at street art on the Berlin wall, walked among a gallery of fallen civilians at "The Terror Exhibit", and seen many many more interesting things. It's such a vibrant city, where the past and the future live side by side. I leave you with the pictures for now until I gather my thoughts and give you a better picture of my experience.
