I just finished these studies of the convallaria flower. There are tons of reasons why I love this flower!

One surprising fact: a long time ago it was considered bad luck to cultivate this plant.

Chiho Aoshima's Art

The Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston has some beautiful anime style murals by Chiho Aoshima . I love her fantasy work! She is a Japanese self-taught artist with such detailed work, simply amazing. You can see more of her work here.
